Topic : Contracting with the Government

In this series Professor Stéphane Saussier introduces two topics: Incomplete contracting and Public-Private Partnerships (PPP). Public contracts are characterized by an especially high probability of renegotiation in all countries. It is therefore important to understand why this happens and what the main consequences are for the efficiency of public contracts and their design. In the second video, Professor Stéphane Saussier introduces the basics of PPPs, their advantages and disadvantages as well as what distinguishes them from private contracts.
